London travel guide

Where to eat in London:

  • The River Cafe - opened in 1987, Italian food

  • The Ivy - Popular spot for its posh interiors and celeb clientele. I prefer this location

  • Sketch - the Gallery is what pink dreams are made of

  • The Wolseley - Breakfast scene is hoppin’

  • Bob Bob Ricard - serves the most champagne in the U.K., and rightfully so since every table is equipped with a ‘Press for Champagne’ button. Lunch menu prices are 20% cheaper than the dinner menu. The menu offers Beef Wellington for two which makes it a great date spot.

  • Yashin Sushi -beautiful fish you can enjoy without or without soy sauce.

  • HIDE

  • COYA

  • Duck & Waffle

  • Padella

  • Ping Pong Soho

These places offer incredible interiors to enjoy a drink:

  • The Connaught Bar

  • Scarfes Bar

  • Blind Spot

  • Annabel’s

  • Mr. Fogg’s Gin Parlour

  • American Bar inside The Savoy hotel

  • The Churchill Arms

Not-so-touristy things to do in London

  • The Wellcome Collection - not your typical museum.

  • The Chelsea Physic Garden - one of the oldest botanical gardens in Europe

  • Persephone Books - a bookstore dedicated to forgotten female authors. I’ve yet to read a bad book from here.

  • Check out the Cross Bones Graveyard after visiting The Shard.
